The CERERE research project proudly partnered with Slow Food to enhance the resilience of agrifood supply chains, protect local cereal varieties, and support producers across the Mediterranean.
At the Terra Madre 2024 event, representatives from CERERE had the opportunity to engage with cereal cooperatives from Tunisia and Egypt, fostering regional collaboration aimed at strengthening sustainable food systems. The event highlighted the vital role of local, sustainable agriculture, inspiring further efforts in innovation and sustainability. CERERE partners are eagerly looking forward to Terra Madre 2026, where they will continue to champion these important initiatives in agrifood supply chains.
